Packed and ready to go!

Oh, Mary Poppins would be proud! We went from this:

To this!

I mean, we're looking at biking clothes, cold weather clothes, dancing clothes, tent, sleeping bags and ground mats, toiletries and meds, kindles and cell phones - all packed into two panniers!

It's a good lesson in simplicity, in a way. Everything must have multiple purposes, especially technology. My kindle is my book, my CD player and my computer (as is my phone, I suppose. Technology is fascinating and terrifying...). The frisbees? Something to toss around and entertain us, but also plates for dinnertime!

And what you see is what we'll have for 6 weeks on the road! We've been planning this trip for so long...it doesn't seem possible that we leave in less than 24 hours! It's time, though. I'm ready!
